EFA funding promotes equity and well-being for all people. Some projects recently funded by EFA in these areas have focused on:

• working against dangerous toxins in our food, cleaning products and pest management methods;
• offering health services to populations in need;
• treatment/prevention of abuse;
• bettering the lives of the disadvantaged;
• LGBT rights;
• addressing domestic and sexual violence;
• strengthening communities and preventing juvenile delinquency;
• treatment for and research on diseases;
• and various therapies for incarcerated individuals and the disabled.
